We had a great time in Texas during our OFA (off-field
assignment – formerly known as furlough.)
We enjoyed the 4th of July with family, rodeos, and good
American food – as well as some great Tex-Mex and lots of chips and salsa! (Maybe a little too much chips and salsa for
Tiff. J) We loved being a part of G.A. and R.A. camp
at Mt. Lebanon Baptist encampment just outside of Dallas, Texas. We enjoyed visiting churches and friends in
the states. We participated in several
Vacation Bible Schools, including one for refugee families in Dallas. We stayed in Aubrey, Texas at the mission
house of First Rock Fellowship Church.
It was a very encouraging time getting to grow with this church by being
a part of their ministries and their women’s retreat. The boys also played football and Megan
danced on toe shoes in the Nutcracker!
We enjoyed spending the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with our
families for the first time in five years.
We flew back to Strasbourg, France on Jan. 3rd. Strasbourg is known as the Christmas Capital
– and some of the lights were still shining when we arrived.
Thank you for praying for us. We are amazed at the doors for ministry that
God is already opening in the short time we have been back in France! We appreciate your prayers!
Please pray for France during this time of conflict. Pray that we will lift Jesus up, that he
might draw all men to himself.
Thank you for continuing to pray for our family as we
transition to life back in France.
Please pray that we will diligently follow God’s leading as
we seek to minister here in France. Pray
that God will lead us to the people with whom we will serve.
